Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation : Assure fresh air breathing. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial
respiration. If symptoms persist call a doctor.
First-aid measures after skin contact : Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
First-aid measures after eye contact : In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 10-15 minutes. If symptoms persist call a doctor.
First-aid measures after ingestion : Call a doctor. Do not induce vomiting. Immediately rinse mouth with water. Give nothing to drink. Seek medical advice if symptom persists.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media : All extinguishing media can be used.
Fire hazard : When heated to decomposition, emits toxic fumes.
Protection during firefighting : Not flammable. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and thick rubber gloves.
Accidental release measures
General measures : Personal protective equipment (see exposure controls / personal protection)
Methods for cleaning up : Stop or confine leakage. Transfer the material to appropriate tanks or containers. Solution can be reused, recycled or disposed. Wash thoroughly after handling.
No additional information available
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before re-using.
Hygiene measures : Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Organisational protection measures: Good ventilation of the workplace required.
2. Hand protection: Wear chemical protective gloves.
3. Body protection: Protective clothing (with elasticated cuffs and closed neck)
6. Eye protection: Safety glasses with side shields. Wear chemical goggles or face shield if splashings are generated when handling this material.
7. Respiratory protection: No protection equipment under normal conditions of use. In case of ammonia emissions, use a facial mask with complete K2 filtrating cartridge.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Stable under normal conditions (Handling and storage).
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions (Handling and storage).
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No data available.
Conditions to avoid: Moisture. Extremely high temperatures.
Incompatible materials: Corrosive to brass, bronze, copper and aluminium. zinc.
Hazardous decomposition products: Toxic vapours. (NO, NO2).
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods : Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
Ecology - waste materials : See the european waste catalogue.
