Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach from experimental results on the analogue isobornyl acetate:

An acute toxicity test to zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) was performed on the analogue substance isobornyl acetate according to OECD 203. 10 fish were exposed to 0 (control, triplicate), 10, 12.5, 18, 25, 35 and 50 mg/L for 96 h under static conditions. The 96h-LC50 was determined to be between 10 -18 mg/L (basis for effect: mortality). Based on these results, the read-across approach was applied and the 96h-LC50 of dextro alpha fenchyl acetate was determined to be 10 -18 mg/L in zebra fish.
