Additional information

Abiotic degradation

A study according to the OECD 111 guideline is not currently available, but is likely to be not technically possible because of the likely low water solubility of the substance. The substance is, however, considered likely to be stable to hydrolysis based on structure and knowledge of other organtotin compounds.

Biotic degradation

Raedy biodegradation data are available on the structural analogue DBTO. DBTO is not readily biodegradable in a study to the OECD 301F guideline. Simulation tests are not available. In the absence of other data and knowledge of other organotin compounds, the registered substance is considered to be stable to biodegradation.
