Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of thiodiglycol. Algae and Daphnia magna turned out to be the most sensitive species revealing an ErC50 (72h) >500 mg/l and an EC50 (48) >500 mg/l, respectively. An acute test to fish provided a LC50 (96h) >10000 mg/l . Thus, with high probability, thiodiglycol is acutely not harmful for aquatic organisms.
