Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

- No boiling point was observed in the range of the Siwoloboff measuring method (room temperature to 250 °C). Only the beginning of a brown discoloration is observed in the temperature region of 140 to 170 °C.

- The DSC analysis reveals an exothermic decomposition in the liquid state at about 168 °C. This decomposition explains the brown discoloration observed by the Siwoloboff method. Therefore the boiling point cannot be measured.

Using the Siwoloboff method , no exact boiling temperature could be detected. Only the beginning of a brown discoloration is observed in the temperature region of 140 to 170 °C. The DSC analysis reveals an exothermic decomposition in the liquid state at about 168 °C
