Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

no biodegradation due to low water solubility

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The target substance is considered insoluble and therefore biodegradation is not performed. Estimation based on accepted method of calculation shows that the substance is considered not ready biodegradable. Moreover, analogue substance 1 was tested for inherent biodegradation following OECD 302B (BASF, 1989). Under the test conditions due to low water solubility no degradation can be observed.

Based on the read across considerations, no biodegradation can be observed also for target substance
