Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Assessment

The adsorption potential of the test substance was assesed experimentally. The determinations of logKoc values were done at different pH values according to the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 121 (BASF SE, 2022). The log Koc is determined experimentally using an HPLC screening method based on a separation with a cyanopropyl stationary phase under isocratic conditions. The calibration is performed with reference substances of known Koc. The plot of log k' as a function of log Koc is used for the determination of the Koc of the test item.

The resulting logKoc values at pH 5, 7 and 9 are <1.3, 1.4 and 2.0 respectively (BASF SE, 2022). The samples were analysed using HPLC with UV/Vis detection.

Based on the available experimental data, the substance is not expected to significantly adsorb to the solid soil phase.
