Description of key information

Since the test substance CCPIB is practically insoluble in water, testing of hydrolysis behaviour of the test substance is considered scientifically not justified.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The performance of a hydrolysis as a function of pH test is scientifically not justified.

REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VIII, Sect.9.2, Col. 2, states as follows:

“ 9.2.2.1: The study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable, or highly insoluble in water. ”

Since the test substance is practically insoluble in water, testing of hydrolysis behaviour of the test substance is considered scientifically not justified.
