Remarks on result:
other: boiling range

Two measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed an endothermic effect (boiling) in the temperature range of 230 - 290 °C.

Boiling point (DSC measurement)

 Onset /°C  Temperature range / °C
 271.16  230 - 290
 257.96  230 - 280
Conclusions:
The test item had a boiling range between 258 °C and 271 °C.
Executive summary:

The determination of the boiling point was carried out according to OECD Test guideline 103 and the

European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.2 by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).In a defined atmosphere (nitrogen) the test item was heated up from ambient temperature to the final temperature (400 °C) at a constant heating rate (10 K/min). The quantity of heat absorbed or released was measured and recorded. Aluminium crucibles with a small hole were used as containers for the test item and as empty reference crucible. The test item had a boiling range between 258 °C and 271 °C.
