---Signs of intoxication:
All animals showed signs of intoxications including
unspecific disturbance of behaviour and difficulties in
breathing. These symptoms could be observed up to the end of
the observation period. In addition, irritational effects on
visible mucous membranes of nose and eyes and increased
lacrimation and salivation were noted. Animals of the
highest concentration group lost body weight.
---Mortality

fluid, pale kidneys and spleen
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Executive summary:
method: rats were exposed nose-only to the test substance for 4 hours and then observed over 21 days for signs of intoxication and mortality.
Body weight was recorded and necropsy performed.
result: LD50 = 113 - 272 mg/m³ (male rats) and ca. 113 mg/m³ (female rats).
