Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the adsorption coefficient of the test substance according to the "HPLC method" described in EU Method C.19 and OECD Guideline 121, in compliance with GLP.

The dead time was determined by injecting a dead time marker substance formamide. For calibration retention times of selected calibration substances with known adsorption coefficients were measured. A calibration graph was drawn from the retention times of calibration substances. The adsorption coefficient of the test substance was derived by comparing its retention time with the calibration curve. Detection of the test substance was carried out at 420 nm. The retention times of the main signal for the test substance were below the retention time of the lowest calibration substance. Hence, the log Koc value of the test substance was estimated to be below the lowest calibration substance.

Under the conditions of the study, the adsorption coefficient (log Koc) of the test substance was determined to be <1.25.

The substance is considered to have low propensity to adsorb to soil and sewage sludge.
