Description of key information

Data waiving, study scientifically unnecessary. A long-term toxicity study to aquatic invertebrates is available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Reliable data on acute toxicity to invertebrates is not available. However, according to Annex VIII (9.1.1. column 2) of the REACH regulation, a short term toxicity study on invertebrates is not required if a long-term toxicity study is available. Therefore, data on short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates are not provided.

Additional, long-term studies were conducted using saturated solutions. Hence, the results can also be used for derivation of the acute classification.
