Short-term toxicity studies with terrestrial organisms are available, showing no toxicity up to the limit of concentration tested with plants and earthworms; however no long-term toxicity data are available. Long-term testing for toxicity to terrestrial organisms is not considered necessary because:

- The parent substance and its hydrolysis product have a log KOW <5, therefore, partitioning to the terrestrial compartment is expected to be minimal.

- Short-term toxicity data indicate the substance to be of low toxicity to terrestrial plants and earthworms.

- PNECsoil has been calculated from PNECfreshwater on the basis of the equilibrium partitioning method; the risk characterisation ratio (RCR) based on PNECsoil is <1.
