Additional information

The test was performed as a well-documented study according the relevant standard method ASTM D 4052-09. The relative density of a 75 % aqueous solution of Choline bicarbonate was determined to be 1.1719 g/cm³ at 20 °C using a digital density meter. The determination of the relative density of a 75 % solution is reasonable because this is the marketed form, the substance is not isolated and is additionally hygroscopic. Since the relative density of the test item was 1.1719 g/cm³ at 20 °C, the results are in the in the expected range, and the calibration (temperature, density of air and water) showed that the testing laboratory established a valid method, this value is considered as reliable and can be used for further risk assessment.

The outcome of the study is reliable without restrictions, within the expected range and determined by a valid method. Hence, no datagaps were identified, the study meets fully the tonnage-driven data requirements under REACH and not further testing needs to be performed.
