Description of key information

A GLP OECD 202 acute toxicity test is selected as a key study (EC50 >103 mg/L). Two further studies provided insufficient information on the test conditions and/or verification of the test concentrations therfore were not included in the assessment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50/LC50 for freshwater invertebrates:
103 mg/L

Additional information

In the key study (2012), the 48 hour EC50 was greater than 103 mg/L based on mean measured concentraions during static exposure. The toxicity to Daphnia magna was assessed in two further studies, which provide summaries of the results. The reports howerver do not provide information on the exposure concentration, the stability of the test material and the effect observed at each dose.
