Additional information

430 ± 5oC, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The

self ignition temperature is reported as 418C in Fire Protection Guide to Hazardous Materials. 13 ed. Quincy, MA: National Fire Protection Association, 2002., p. 325-92. These two values are close in agreement. The substance does not contain known pyrophoric groups or compounds as listed in Bretherick's Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards.
