Description of key information

The boiling point of perrhenic acid has been determined to be  102°C at 100.70kPa.  From the boiling temperature observed, the known composition of the test item, the continuing higher temperature thermal events and the remaining residues, the observed boiling temperature was attributed to the loss of the water content of the test item, it being an aqueous solution.   The remaining residue was concluded to undergo thermal decomposition as the sample temperature continued to increase.
