No simulation tests on the biodegradation in soil are available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

4'-hydroxyacetophenone was shown to be readily biodegradable, with over 90% degradation after 28 days. The substance is therefore expected to be biodegradable in the environment, and according to the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, no further testing for biodegradability is needed.
