- Fish toxicity:

- 48-hour LC50 value: 4.27 mg/I

 

- Algae toxicity:

- The effect of P-PP test item was assessed on algal growth using the unicellular green alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata (Selenastrum capricornutum), over an exposure period of 72 hours.

- With respect to the inhibitory effect of the test item, the 0-72 h average specific growth rates yield and areas were significantly different from that of the control group in the examined concentration range of 0.59 - 6.33 mg/L (measured). The overall NOEC was determined as 0.32 mg/L (measured); the overall LOEC was determined as 0.59 mg/L (measured).

Under the conditions of this Daphnia magna acute immobilisation study the calculated and observed end points for the effect of P-PP were the followings:

 

- The 24h EC50 value: 3.73 mg/L(with 95% conf. limits: 3.40 - 4.10 mg/L)

- The 48h EC50 value: 2.21 mg/L(with 95% conf. limits: 2.05 - 2.39 mg/L)

-The 48h No-Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC): 0.63 mg/L

- The 48h Lowest Observed Effect Concentration (LOEC): 1.25 mg/L
