Additional information

In an acute toxicity study according to AFNOR T 90 -301, Daphnia magna (4 replicates of 5 animals per concentration) were exposed to nominal test substance concentrations of 0 (control), 0.1, 0.35, 1, 3.5 and 10 mg/L under static conditions for 24 hours. As no effects were noted at any of the concentrations tested, the 24-h EC50 was determined at >10. However, the study is disregarded since the test duration is only 24 h and only limited documentation is available. However, a study on long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is available. Therefore, according to column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VII the study does not need to be conducted since a long-term aquatic toxicity study on invertebrates is available. Hence, further data on short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is not provided.
