The solubility of tetramethylthiuram disulfide in different organic solvents has been determined:
in Dichloromethane: 164 g/L at 20 °C and 199 g/L at 25 °C;
in Methanol: 1.84 - 1.91 g/L at 20 °C;
in Petroleum ether 40-60: 0.04 g/L at 20 °C;
in Ethyl acetate: 8.53 g/L at 20 °C and 13 g/L at 22 °C;
in acetone: 21 g/L at 20 °C and 69.7 g/L at 25 °C;
in acetonitrile: 18.58 g/L at 20 °C;
in Chloroform: 204.7 g/L at 25 °C;
in Xylene: 8.3 g/L at 20 °C and 9.1 g/L at 25 °C;
in Hexane: 0.093 g/L at 20 °C;
in Benzene: 41.2 g/L at 25 °C.
