Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

An evaluation of the chemical structure of test item was performed, which showed that the test item has no oxidizing properties. Therefore no tests were performed.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

No tests were performed because oxidizing properties of the test item can be excluded by an evaluation of the chemical structure: The molecule contains an triazin structure. Here oxidizing properties can be excluded. This is proofed by a representative example for the present structures, i.e. 1,3,5-triazin, which is not classified as an oxidizing substance according to RID/ADR class 5.1.There are phenol groups chemically bonded to the triazin structure, which have no oxidizing properties. This is proofed by a representative example for the present structures, i.e. phenol which is not classified as an oxidizing substance according to RID/ADR class 5.1.

At last the compound contains oxygens and nitrogen chemically only bonded to carbon.

For this case the testing procedure for oxidizing substances need not to be applied (Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods / Manual of Tests and Criteria (ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.3), page 401).
