Additional information

Abe (2001) carried out a study on embryo development and hatching of Daphnia magna. The eggs were exposed to the substance (five different concentrations) during 72 hours. They determined the median effect concentration for embryos EC50 = 0.83 mg/L. The study was not conducted following standard guidelines and is of short duration. It lacks certain details and it is unclear whether the validity criteria were met. The available data is not considered to be reliable or adequate for classification purposes. No NOAEC was identified from the short-duration study.
