Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

General Information

Implementation:
EU
Remarks:
The table 3 of harmonised entries in Annex VI to CLP, index No 612-010-00-8 assigns the classification for "chloroanilines, with exception of those specified elsewhere in this Annex". In addition the self-classification in accordance with Title II, for those hazard classes where no harmonised classification is contained in the entry in Part 3 of Annex VI, has been incorporated. The available data for harmonized endpoints clearly shows the inconsistency between the group classification of Chloroanilines and the intrinsic hazardous properties of the registered substance, however, in absence of a specific harmonized classification and labelling for 2,4,6-trichloroaniline, the group entry classification for Chloroanilines are legally-binding.
