Additional information

4-Morpholinecarbaldehyde was shown to be readily biodegradable in the DOC Die-Away Test (OECD 301 A) using non-adapted activated sludge from a laboratory wastewater treatment plant fed with municipal and synthetic sewage. After a lag-phase of approx. 14 days, a biodegradation of 96% after 21 days was measured related to the DOC removal (BASF AG, 1997; report no. 96/0625/21/2).
