Description of key information

Specific studies on toxicokinetic properties are not available. Oral repeated dose testing indicates that at least some substance is absorbed and reaches the liver.

Additional information

The test substance has a molecular weight of 447.58 g/mol, is poorly water soluble (< 0.04 mg/L at 20°C) and the calculated log Po/w is approx. 6.5. These data indicate a poor absorption through skin and gastrointestinal wall. The oral repeat-dose studies as well as the teratology study confirm this assumption, since no or little effects were observed up to the highest doses administered. Exceptionally, liver effects were observed which however showed a trend to recovery during a test-article-free period. The absence of any other organ toxicity might indicate a rapid liver metabolism and elimination with no or little test substance reaching systemic circulation.

No toxicokinetic studies were performed with the test substance.
