Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are conflicitng data available on the acute toxicity to fish of the registration item. A GLP guideline study according to OECD 203 performed with an analogous UVCB revealed a LC50 of 1.76 mg/L. However, a study of the same validity with the submission item resulted in a LC50 of >160 mg/L. In order to add further information, a QSAR estimation using the OECD toolbox was performed. This method predicts a LC50 value of 4.73 mg/L for a representative structure of the registration item. As the reason for the differences in the outcome of the investigations remains unclear, a valid conclusion on the acute fish toxicity of the registration item can´t be drawn. Nevertheless, and applying a worst case approach, a LC50 of 1.76 mg/L is used value for the chemical safety assessment.
