Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study was performed to assess the acute toxicity of test substance to Daphnia magna under static conditions at a temperature of 20 ± 1 °C. The study was conducted in accordance with EU Method C.2.

Daphnids were exposed to a limit test concentration of 100 mg/L of test substance dissolved in water. Analysis was performed for the test concentration plus a control at the test start and after 48 h of exposure. At the end of the test one replicate of each test concentration was sampled.

Observations were made on the immobilisation rate, after 24 and 48 h of exposure. The EC50 values obtained were > 100 mg/L for 24 and 48 h exposure period. The values obtained were based on the nominal concentrations of test substance. The mean measured concentration of the test material was 99 % of the nominal value.

The 48 h EC50 value of the test substance (nominal) was determined to be > 100 mg/L(Brown D, 1991).
