Description of key information

According to various QSAR predictions the BCF value of 3-oxoglutaric acid is estimated to be in the range of 1.4677 to 3.2 Also the other WoE studies indicates the BCF values to be in the same range.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
3.2 dimensionless

Additional information

The summary of the results are presented below

Sr. No

Endpoint name

BCF 1.467718
  2  BCF  3.162
  3  BCF  3.2

Based on the above the endpoint varies between 1.4677 to 3.2. Therefore it can be concluded that the substance is classified as non bioaccumulative in nature according to the CLP regulation.
