- Expiration date of the lot/batch: May 05, 2019
STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Storage condition of test material: In the freezer (≤-20 °C), under dark and dry conditions - Analytical monitoring:
- yes
- Details on sampling:
- Duplicate samples from the freshly prepared test media of all test concentrations and the control were taken at test start and at the test medium renewals of 3 and 6 days. For the determination of the stability of the test item under the test conditions and of the maintenance of the test item concentrations during the renewal periods, duplicate samples were taken at the test medium renewals at 1 and 4 days and at the end of the test from all aged test media and the control of the actual test by pouring together the contents of each treatment. All samples were diluted by a factor of 2 with acetonitrile. From all freshly prepared and aged controls during the above mentioned renewal periods and the dilution solvent, one additional sample was taken without any sample treatment.
- Details on test solutions:
- Test Concentrations: 80.0, 25.0, 7.81, 2.44, 0.76 and 0.24 mg test item/L and a control.
Control: In the control, test medium was used without addition of the test item.
Dosage of Test Item: Before test start and before each test media renewal a stock solution of nominal 80 mg test item/L was prepared by dissolving the test item in the test water by intense stirring for 10 minutes.
Day 0: 80.18 mg test item in 1002.25 ml
Day 1: 81.33 mg test item in 1016.625 ml
Day 2: 81.62 mg test item in 1020.25 ml
Day 3: 80.62 mg test item in 1007.75 ml
Day 4: 80.45 mg test item in 1005.625 ml
Day 5: 81.30 mg test item in 1016.25 ml
Day 6: 80.11 mg test item in 1001.38 ml
Adequate volumes of this stock solution were diluted with test water to prepare the test media. The test media were prepared just before introduction of the Lemna (= start of the test) and each test medium renewal.
Appearance of the Test Item
in Test Medium:
The test item caused a colouration of the test water. The concentration of 0.24 mg test item /L caused a slightly pink colouration. The concentrations of 0.76 and 2.44 mg test item/L caused a pink colouration. The concentration of 7.81 mg test item/L caused a strong pink colouration. The concentration of 25.0 mg test item/L caused a red colouration. The concentration of 80.0 mg test item/L caused a strong red colouration. - Test organisms (species):
