Additional information

The key study was conducted in line with GLP and the standardised guidelines OECD 109 and EU Method A.3. It was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria detailed by Klimisch (1997).

The density of the test material was investigated using a pycnometer.

The pycnometer with a defined volume (V) was weighed and filled with the test material. After equilibration at 20 °C in a water bath, the filled pycnometer was re-weighed. The density was calculated from the difference in weight between the full and empty pycnometer and its known volume.

Under the conditions of this study, the density of the test material has been determined to be 886 kg/m³ at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The relative density was determined to be 0.886.
