Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is not readily biodegradable. As inherent biodegradability is only 14% after 28 days, the substance as well is considered as not being inherently biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

Two Klimisch-1-rated studies were being conducted.

The substance was not readily biodegradable under the conditions in the closed bottle test.

The test article was slightly degraded under the test conditions within 28 days by 14 %. As the substance was proven to be inherently biodegradable less than 20%, according to ECHA endpoint specific guidance documents the substance therefore shall be considered as not inherently biodegradable.

In conclusion the final assessemnt on the substance is "under test conditions no biodegradation observed".
