There is no data available on the toxicity of adamantyltrimethylammoniumhydroxide on fish. The assessment of fish toxicity is based on data obtained for the similar substance amantadine (CAS 768 -94 -5), in a flow-through short-term fish test performed according to the APHA standard method, using the fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) as test organism. An LC50 value of 25 mg/L was derived for 96 hours exposure (Geiger et al., 1986).
