Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No toxic effects occur within the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a GLP guideline study according to OECD guideline 202 (NOTOX 2001c) no toxic effects on Daphnia magna could be observed. A limit test with a filtered and an unfiltered supersaturated solution (water-accommodated fractions) was conducted and the test substance induced no immobility in Daphnia magna within the range of solubility. Hence, the NOEC and the EC50 are above the nominal concentration of 100 mg/L.
