Description of key information

Data have been obtained from secondary source (EPA databank), including several pubblication.

LC50 for terrestrial arthropods is 5000 ug/L has been choosen as the most relevant and conservative data.

Additional information

The most relevant and conservative study defines a mortality endpoint LC50 of 5000 µg/l. This value was measured by chemical analysis. 2,4 -dinitrophenol was tested on Aedes aegypti (Yellow Fever Mosquito) in a renewal condition in aquatic compartment. The exposure duration was 12 days Temperature was measured during the test.
