Details on results:
Summing up, it can be said that the hydrolysis of 5-Fluoro-2-nitrobenzoic acid methyl ester was base catalysed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
At pH4 the test substance was stable, because less than 10% was hydrolized after 5 days at 50 °C. This corresponds to a half life time of more than one year at normal environmental conditions.
At pH9 the test substance was instable because it has hydrolized more than 50 % after 2.4 hours.
The half life at pH 7 and 25 °C the half life was 3665 hours.
