Justification for classification or non-classification

Flammability Classification: NOT CLASSIFIED

With reference to Directive 92/32/EEC, and within the meaning of the definitions given in Article 2(2), paragraphs 2(c), (d) and (e), the test substance is classified as follows:

(i) Extremely Flammable: Not Classified

·       The flash point (see 3.9 above) is not less than 0°C.

(ii) Highly Flammable: Not Classified · The flash point is not less than 21°C.

·       The results of the Flammability (Contact with Water) Test (section 3.12 above) show that the test substance does not evolve highly flammable gases in dangerous quantities on contact with water.

·       The results of the Pyrophoric Properties of Solids and Liquids Test (section 3.13 above) show that the test substance does not ignite on contact with air at ambient temperature.

(iii) Flammable: Not Classified

·       The flash point is not less than or equal to 55°C
