Additional information

According to REACH Regulation Annex VII column 2, testing for definition of oxidising properties is not required because the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the definition set out in the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008) oxidising solid means a solid substance or mixture which, while in it is not necessarily combustible, may, generally by yielding oxygen, cause, or contribute to, the combustion of other material. A specific study has not been conducted on the substance but based on the chemical structure the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, therefore no classification as oxidising is warranted.
