Description of key information

The test material is a pale yellow liquid at room temperature and should be stored at room temperature in the dark.

The freezing temperature of the test item has been determined to be less than -20°C (253 K) and the boiling temperature has been determined to be 206 ± 1.0 °C (479 ± 1.0 K) at 99.0 kPa.

The test material has a relative density 1.10 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, a partition coefficient of 24.4, log10Pow 1.39, water solubility has been determined at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C to be 37.0 g/L of solution and the surface tension of a 1.0 g/L solution of test item in water has been determined to be 67.0 mN/m at 21.6 to 21.8 ± 0.5 °C. The test item was considered not to be surface-active.

The vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 0.2 Pa at 25°C, using the vapor pressure balance method, the flash point has been determined to be 115 ± 2°C and the test material has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 320 ± 5 °C.

The test material is not considered to have explosive properties as there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. Based on the chemical structure of the test item the result for the oxidizing properties has been predicted negative.
