The testing of activated sludge in respiration inhibition test according to OECD 209 guideline under GLP condition show inhibition after 3h of exposure as IC 50= 699 mg/L. The no observed effect concentration after 3 h of exposure was established as NOEC = 320 mg/L.

Description of key information

Activated Sludge, Respiration Inhibition Test test was performed according toOECD Guideline 209. Inhibitory effects on the respiration of activated sewage sludge after 3 hours of exposure at the test concertation of 100mg/L was not observed. The no observed effect concertation was established as NOEC = 100 mg/L and the IC 50 was established as more than 100 mg/L. The test was performed according to OECD 209 guideline under GLP condition.
