Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

The substance as such is not handled by the registrant or its customers since it is exclusively imported as the reacted form of a monomer in a polymer backbone.

Appropriate measures related to the respective imported polymers are communicated by means of Safety Data Sheet for each polymer as applicable.

Fire-fighting measures

The substance as such is not handled by  the registrant or its customers since it is exclusively imported as the reacted form of a monomer in a polymer backbone.

Appropriate measures related to the respective imported polymers are communicated by means of Safety Data Sheet for each polymer as applicable.

Accidental release measures

The substance as such is not handled by  the registrant  or its customers since it is exclusively imported as the reacted form of a monomer in a polymer backbone.

Appropriate measures related to the respective imported polymers are communicated by means of Safety Data Sheet for each polymer as applicable.

Handling and storage

The substance as such is not handled by  the registrant  or its customers since it is exclusively imported as the reacted form of a monomer in a polymer backbone.

Appropriate measures related to the respective imported polymers are communicated by means of Safety Data Sheet for each polymer as applicable.

The following personal protective equipments (PPE) are generally recommended for substances of moderate hazard:

- Substance/task appropriate gloves;

- Skin coverage with appropriate barrier material based on potential for contact with the chemicals;

- Substance/task appropriate respirator;

- Optional face shield.

The following general risk management measures (RMMs) are generally recommended for substances of moderate hazard:

- Containment as appropriate;

- Minimise number of staff exposed;

- Segregation of the emitting process;

- Effective contaminant extraction;

- Good standard of general ventilation;

- Minimisation of manual phases;

- Avoidance of contact with contaminated tools and objects;

- Regular cleaning of equipment and work area;

- Management/supervision in place to check that the RMMs in place are being used correctly and OCs followed;

- Training for staff on good practice;

- Good standard of personal hygiene.
