One biodegradation screening study indicate that Reaction product of fatty acids C14-18/C16-18 unsaturated with dihydrogendioxide and ammonia is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria and therefore, rapidly biodegraded in both aquatic and terrestrial environments. Thus, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.2.1.2, 9.2.1.3 and 9.2.1.4, further simulation testing on biodegradation of the substance in water, sediment and soil is not required.
