Description of key information

Key study: OECD 201. GLP study. The ECr50 (based on growth inhibition rate) of the test item in green algae was 151.29 mg/L after 72 hours of exposure. The ECr10 was 81.35.

Key study: The green algae growth inhibition test was performed according to OECD Guideline 201 (GLP study). Based on preliminary results, the initial density of 1 x 104 cells/mL Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata were exposed to 0 (control, 6 replicates), 3.2, 10, 32, 100 and 320 mg/L test item (3 replicates) for 72 hours under static conditions. The ECr50 (based on growth inhibition rate) of the test item in green algae was 151.29 mg/L after 72 hours of exposure. The ECr10 and ECr20 were 81.35 and 100.66 mg/L respectively.
