Description of key information

Major components ranging between 99 and 633 Pa at 25°C (literature and QSAR).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No study was conducted on the oil itself, as not relevant for an UVCB.

In a Weight of Evidence approach, literature provided data for five of the six major components:

- cineole VP ca 253 Pa,

- limonene VP ca 207 Pa,

- alpha-pinene VP ca 633 Pa,

- para-cymene VP ca 200 Pa,

- terpinolene VP ca 99 Pa,

(at the same temperature of 25°C).

For sabinene, no literature data was available, so the dataset was completed with a valid QSAR estimation: VP ca 366 Pa at 25°C.

As no CSA is required for the tonnage band of concern, no key value was retained (nor calculated weighted VP nor worst-case).
