Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Kety study: Test method EEC C.7, OECD 111 (modified method). GLP study. The substance rapidly hydrolysed and exhibited half-lives less than 5 minutes at pH 4,7 and 9 at ambient temperature (ca 20°C).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
5 min
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Key study: The abiotic degradation study was performed in accordance with the preliminary test as described in the EEC Methods C7 and with OECD Method 111. Due to the highly reactive nature of the test item a modified test was performed. Hydrolysis was evaluated after mixing the test sample with buffer at pH 4, 7 and 9. Analysis was performed by gas chromatography. Under the test conditions the substance rapidly hydrolysed and exhibited half-lives less than 5 minutes at pH 4,7 and 9 at ambient temperature (ca 20°C).
