Conclusion on classification

The substance is not classified for acute aquatic hazard as the L(E)C50 for fish, daphnia and algae are all > 1 mg/L. The NOEC from a 72 -h algal study was 6.25 mg/L. The substance is readily biodegradable. On this basis, classification for chronic aquatic hazard is not required.
