Description of key information

In an acute toxicity limit test according to OECD guideline 202, the LD50 of the test substance was > 100 mg/L (BASF SE, 2008).

Additional information

The 48–h acute toxicity of 2-[(2-methoxy-5-nitrophenyl)diazenyl]-N-(2-methoxyphenyl)-3-oxobutanamide to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions according to OECD guideline 202 (BASF SE, 2008). Daphnids were exposed to a nominal limit concentration of 100 mg/L for 48 h. No mortality/immobilization or sublethal effects were observed at test termination. The 48-hour LC50 was > 100 mg/L.
