Description of key information

logPow= 1.4-3.8 at 25°C (multi-components)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance was not stable in n-octanol thus the logPow value could not be determined by experiment. The partition coefficient has to be calculated instead.

The calculation was based on fragment method using KOWWIN module of software EPI Suite.

As the test substance is a mixture of 3 major components hence the partition coefficient has been generated on the individual components and the results are given as follows:

logPow= 2.6 (of Monophthalamide-)

logPow= 1.4 (of Quinacridone )

logPow= 3.8 (of Diphthalamide-)

It can be concluded that the partition coefficient was calculated to be logPow= 1.4 - 3.8 at 25°C
