Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

> 270 °C at atmospheric pressure with decomposition (OECD 103, Siwoloboff method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Pressure not recorded. Atmospheric pressure assumed.

No boiling point could be determined because of decomposition of the test item, taking place at temperatures above 270 °C determined following the Siwoloboff method.

This value represents the lowest temperature of all tests at which no decomposition could be observed. It was not possible to determine an exact decomposition temperature due the original dark brown colour of the test item, foaming when performing the experiments and the test item changing colour to even darker brown or black.
