Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

LC50(96h) > 0.2 mg/L (loading rate WAF, measured) for Cyprinus carpio (OECD 203)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of the test substance to fish is available. The test was performed according to GLP and OECD guideline 203 using Cyprinus carpio as test organism. A glass-fiber filtered solution prepared at a loading rate of 100 mg/L was applied in a limit test. No visible or lethal effects at or below a Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration of 0.2 mg/L was measured during the test period of 96 hours. The 96h-LC50 is determined to be > 0.2 mg/L, which was measured to be the solubility of the test substance in the test solution. Thus, the test substance is not harmful to fish within the range of solubility in water.
